The Energy of Money and Business

Everything has energy.

In fact, everything IS energy.

Blame it on the Big Bang.  Hell, the universe is STILL hurtling outward from the point of creation.

Both physicists and theologians agree on this, though their paths to their divergent enlightenment look different.

We are all just the space between sub-atomic particles, condensed to a slow vibration.

Since money is also a form of energy, as well as the very lifeblood of your business, it therefore follows that it is easier to attract it, rather than chasing after it.

What is your first instinct if it looks like something’s coming after you in a big hurry?

Turn and run the other way.  Right?

So, let me do my best to convince you to stop chasing after money.

Or customers.  Or clients.

Have you ever watched a young child trying to catch a stray cat in a backyard?

The cat runs.  In fact, it usually runs the other way when someone gets within 10 feet of it, if the pursuer is running after it.

Cats perceive these things as threats.

At the reptilian level, so do we humanoids.

There are a few key things you can do to encourage money to flow easily and abundantly into your business.

First, get clear on what you want, and need. The more specific you can be, the better.

Vague goals won’t cut it here.  If it’s cash, you should have a specific amount in mind.

Even better, a clear image of what you want to DO with the money works even better.

That high-end commercial property you just know is going to up your street cred.

Once you know what you want, release any attachments to the outcome.

This can be hard, but it’s important.

Trust that the universe will provide what you need, when you need it.

Visualize your business thriving and yourself meeting your financial goals.

See yourself taking the actions necessary to make this happen.

Feel the feelings of success and abundance. The more real you can make it, the better.

Finally, take action. Money won’t just appear out of thin air without some action on your part.

You have to put in the work to make it happen.

People put down the Law of Attraction because the movie The Secret kinda conveniently left that take action piece out, for the most part.

You must have a clear vision, and action on that vision.

Thomas Edison said that opportunity gets missed mostly because it shows up in overalls and looks like work.

Work, you must.

Then, if or when you get a sudden urge or flash of a brilliant idea, be grateful.

The possibility that it was divinely, or universally, given to you is very good.

Say thank you, even silently to yourself, accept it for the gift it truly is..

And act!

If you do all of the above, money will most likely flow more easily and abundantly than you ever thought possible.

For your business, and even in your non-business life.

As an accountant I don’t get much chance to talk about these more esoteric subjects, so I figured I’d just bring it up myself.

If you believe, you achieve.

How many people told the Wright brothers they couldn’t fly, I wonder?

Listen to the still, small voice in your heart.

Then go forth, and do great abundantly prosperous things!

You owe God/the universe/insert favorite deity here the best possible you that you have to offer.

Let’s do this, people!

Money is an energy, and you best be going about attracting it to you, rather than repelling it away from you.

Whatever you ask for, believe that you have received it.

It will be yours.

Go forth, prosper, and have an incredible upcoming week!
