How convenient that the final week of the year ends on Friday, just like a week should.
A perfect way for the last week of the year to end.
Saturday is even a holiday. Personally, I always felt like it could have been redubbed “National Hangover Day.”
But of course, that was back when I used to think you had to drink excessively on New Year’s Eve.
You don’t, by the way. Have to. Cab drivers call it “amateur night” for a reason.
It’s been a rough year for a lot of reasons. It’s been a great year for a lot of reasons, too.
Did you hit your goals for growth and profitability in your business this past year?
If not, did you at least improve your company’s performance relative to 2020?
Either way, you’re making progress.
If your business is growing, and your service offering is expanding and evolving, guess what?
You’re a ten-percenter.
Explanation: 90% of all businesses fail in the first five years.
You’re special.
Better believe it.
I like this week, too, because it’s the first full week that every single day is growing gradually longer.
Funny, how winter actually has that tendency.
We’re moving forward, from a silent and holy night, toward a gradual reawakening of a slow sleep.
There are great things ahead for us, and you, in 2022.
All you have to do is never fall down and stay down.
Get back up, call your business coach, your friend, your pastor, your mom, whatever it takes, but…
…do NOT quit.
Refuse to lose.
You don’t need to make “special resolutions on New Year’s Eve, because your resolve should already be firm.
I WILL win. 2022 will be the best year ever for my business.
For my loyal and grateful customers/clients.
For family. For taking time to smell the roses, and see something you’ve never seen before.
Learn something you’ve never known before.
You only stop growing when you stop learning.
So, don’t stop. Believing, learning, doing.
Serving.
Provide more service than you charge for, and the money will follow naturally.
These last few things are affirmations I’m sharing for the purpose of putting them out there into the universe, but you know what?
They’re also my attempt to convince you, who have read this far, that you can be saying these things for yourself as well.
My Week 52 resolve is to finish strong, come bursting out of the gate on the 3rd of January…
…and to take as many people with me, with us, as possible.
Are ya ready?
Let’s DO this!
